The Write Note

Following an intensive week of songwriting, guidance from industry experts, collaborative sessions, and professional studio recording, the participant artists of The Write Note present their freshly created compositions in a live performance alongside a skilled professional ensemble. Established in Malta by Isabella Turso and Stefania Grech Vella, The Write Note functions as a developmental platform for up-and-coming singer-songwriters. During the residency, chosen artists craft an original composition from scratch while receiving support from seasoned mentors, instrumentalists, industry specialists and music professionals. The programme concludes at Teatru Salesjan, where performers take the stage to debut the material they have written and refined over their week-long residency, presenting it to a gathered crowd.
