Loom Workshops (5-16 years)

Alda Bugeja, a textile artist, is offering summer loom workshops at Xewkija Windmill designed for children and teenagers interested in weaving. Participants will have the opportunity to learn loom weaving techniques, build artistic abilities, showcase their imagination, discover aspects of Gozo's heritage and traditions, and enjoy the calming effects of working with yarn and colored textiles. The workshops run on August 4, 11, 18, and 25. Two age groups are accommodated: the younger group (ages 5-10) meets from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM, while the older group (ages 11-16) attends from 3:30 PM to 5:30 PM. There is no admission fee.
