Pets or pests?

Pets or Pests? is an engaging workshop offered as part of the Student Summer Programme. Taking place on 2nd July between 9:30am and 11:00am at the National Museum of Natural History, this activity welcomes children six years and older. Young learners will engage with captivating narratives and hands-on tasks to investigate how humans and common creatures—including rats, cats, and pigeons—have interacted across time, examining how these animals' perceptions and significance have transformed over the centuries. The programme combines entertainment with learning, inspiring participants to reconsider ordinary animals in a fresh light and understand their historical importance to human society. Attendance costs €10 per child, with one adult included in this price. Advance reservations are available through online booking or at any Heritage Malta location.
