Join Heritage Malta in marking the arrival of summer during the Summer Solstice celebration at Mnajdra on June 20th, 21st, and 22nd, 2026. During these three days, the morning sun's initial beams illuminate the edge of a megalithic stone within the inner chambers of the South Structure—a Neolithic sanctuary constructed between the 4th and 3rd millennia BC. For the agricultural societies that erected this complex, seasonal transitions held profound importance and likely served as occasions for communal gatherings and festivities. Beyond witnessing this celestial occurrence, guests will participate in a guided exploration of the archaeological site. Following the tour, complimentary beverages will be served at the Visitor Centre. Due to the desire to maintain an intimate setting, only a restricted number of tickets will be released.
