(LOW AVAILABILITY) Shipwrecks and artifacts from the Sea

As part of the Student Summer Programme, children aged 8 and above are welcome to join Shipwrecks and Artefacts from the Sea on 3rd August between 10:00am and 11:30am at the Fortress Builders Interpretation Centre. This immersive workshop takes young participants on a journey through underwater archaeology, highlighting submerged wrecks across Malta and the treasured objects recovered by trained divers. Attendees will discover the intricacies involved in exploring, documenting, and retrieving items from the ocean floor, while understanding how these finds illuminate our knowledge of history. The experience features hands-on examination of genuine artefacts alongside diving apparatus, offering an interactive way to experience Malta's submerged cultural legacy.
