(FULLY BOOKED) Bugs and Creepy Crawlies
Part of the Student Summer Programme, this activity takes place on August 5th between 5:30pm and 7:00pm at the National Museum of Natural History. Children six years and older can join Bugs and Creepy Crawlies, an engaging exploration into the diverse lives of insects. Participants will encounter various species, including mosquitoes and the distinctive Asian wasp, and discover how these small animals develop, behave, and exist within their habitats. The interactive session uses discussions and hands-on activities to help young learners understand the ecological significance of insects, as well as recognizing which species may be perceived as problematic. By fostering observation skills and wonder, the programme provides insight into the intricate ecosystem of tiny organisms present in everyday environments. The cost per child is €10, with one adult included in this price. Reservations are available through online booking or at Heritage Malta venues and locations.
