Curator’s Tour by David Cilia
Members of Heritage Malta are cordially welcomed to experience an exclusive tour of the National Museum of Natural History's scientific holdings on Friday, November 6th, starting at 6pm. This guided visit provides privileged access to preserved biological specimens in liquid storage, historical plant collections, and archival materials including field notes and illustrations created by celebrated naturalists—all revealing how scientific knowledge of nature has evolved. A knowledgeable curator will shepherd participants through the collection while underscoring its contemporary significance for scholarly investigation into critical environmental challenges, including species loss and shifting climate patterns. Entry is priced at €3 per visitor, with advance reservation mandatory via Heritage Malta's website (www.heritagemalta.mt/store) or at any of their institutional locations.
