The Secret Life of Seeds – from Tiny to Mighty

As part of the Student Summer Programme, Għar Dalam Cave and Museum welcomes children aged 6 and upwards on 25th July between 9:00am and 10:30am for The Secret Life of Seeds – from Tiny to Mighty. This interactive session provides an introduction to the remarkable world of seeds, investigating their internal structures, methods of dispersal, and germination processes. Participants will engage in practical exploration to learn how modest seeds develop into substantial trees and flowering plants, culminating in the opportunity to plant and pot their own seeds to bring home for continued growth. The workshop fosters inquisitiveness about the natural world while helping young learners appreciate the processes involved in plant development and maturation.
