Heritage Malta invites you to explore the heritage of local goat cheese production at the historic house in the Citadel on Gozo, starting at 11:00am. Participants will initially learn about the history and cultural significance of goat's milk and related local practices, followed by a demonstration of fresh cheese-making. While the milk curdles, attendees will have the chance to participate in a hands-on activity learning to make spiced cheese. Those taking part are asked to bring 2 or 4 half cheeses in an airtight container for use during the practical session. This workshop welcomes both adults and children. Young participants aged nine to fifteen years old must be accompanied by an adult, whose admission is complimentary with each child's ticket. Spaces are limited and advance booking is required. Tickets are available for purchase through the Heritage Malta website and at Heritage Malta sites and museums.
