Malta Book Festival 2026 (All Ages)

For its 47th year, the Malta Book Festival takes over the Malta Fairs and Conventions Centre in Ta' Qali from November 4th through 8th, featuring the theme 'Uncover the Story'. Run by the National Book Council, this flagship literary event attracts thousands of attendees annually and showcases numerous publishers alongside more than 100 scheduled activities catering to readers of every age group. Throughout the festival week, visitors can enjoy seminars, author presentations, kid-friendly entertainment, and contributions from visiting international writers. Entry to the entire festival and every programme item is at no cost, while pupils attending primary or secondary school receive a €20 book voucher valid for purchases at the event. This extended festival provides an excellent destination for book-enthusiast households, with engaging offerings ranging from activities for young children up to those designed for older students.
