(FULLY BOOKED) Secrets of the Pond

Għar Dalam Cave and Museum will host Secrets of the Pond on 5th September between 9:00am and 10:30am as part of the Student Summer Programme. Young learners aged 6 and above can explore the captivating ecosystems found in ponds, discovering how frogs, fish, insects, plants, and various other organisms coexist in these environments. Participants will compare natural and artificial pond systems, identify the diverse wildlife and vegetation inhabiting them, and understand how each creature contributes to maintaining the ecosystem's balance. By engaging in hands-on observation and investigation, children will develop a deeper understanding of the remarkable biodiversity and ecological significance of pond habitats. Entry costs €10 per child with one adult included. Bookings are available online or at Heritage Malta locations and facilities.
