Collection in Focus: Prints – 14th August 2026 (FULLY BOOKED)

Join this open-access session on August 14th between 10am and 12pm for an in-depth examination of works from MUŻA's print collection. The workshop invites visitors to immerse themselves in the diverse techniques and practices of printmaking throughout history. Led by informed facilitators, the program explores fundamental methods including etching, engraving, lithography, and woodcut, demonstrating how artists have employed these approaches over time. Participants will discover how printmaking has functioned as a crucial medium for sharing concepts, fostering creative development, and making visual art available to wider audiences. The experience deepens understanding of prints as sophisticated technical productions and meaningful artistic statements. The event is designed to be mobile, with attendees moving between artworks on display; seating options will be provided for those who require them.
