(LOW AVAILABILITY) 85th Anniversary of the Decima Flottiglia MAS Attack
Attend a special evening event on Wednesday, July 22nd at Fort St Elmo and the National War Museum located in Valletta from 7:00pm to 8:00pm, commemorating the remarkable maritime assault that targeted the Maltese Islands on July 26th, 1941. During this historic occasion, Italian Navy personnel from the Decima Flottiglia MAS made an audacious strike to sabotage shipping in the Grand Harbour as part of Operation Substance. The courageous response from Maltese forces stationed at Fort St Elmo and surrounding defensive positions proved instrumental in thwarting the offensive.
