Sunset Tour

Discover the diverse architectural heritage found within the Ħaġar Qim and Mnajdra Archaeological Park through a guided sunset experience taking place on Friday 19th June. Led by knowledgeable curators, this tour will encompass visits to both the ancient ceremonial complexes of Ħaġar Qim and Mnajdra, alongside the Congreve Memorial and Ħamrija Tower. Throughout the evening, your guides will examine and explain the varied structural elements across these remarkable locations, spanning everything from enormous ancient monuments to fortifications constructed during the Hospitaller period. This experience provides a distinctive chance to investigate multiple sections of the park with enhanced perspective, particularly benefiting from the quieter atmosphere outside standard visiting times when tourist crowds are absent. Following the tour, attendees are invited to extend their experience at the Visitor Centre, where beverages and light refreshments will be available for continued conversation. Participants should arrive at the Ħaġar Qim and Mnajdra Visitor Centre by 6:15pm. Three concurrent guided tours are available.
