Sensory Friendly Hours at Esplora (All Ages)

Esplora Interactive Science Centre in Kalkara is organizing Sensory Friendly Hours on Sunday 27 September between 9:00 AM and 1:00 PM. The event creates a quieter, less stimulating environment for those who are sensitive to intense lighting and sound levels. Attendees have the option to borrow a Sensory Bag containing sand timers, fidget toys, visual supports, sunglasses and ear protection, along with a guide showing peaceful areas and zones with reduced lighting. The programme features interactive workshops, live science demonstrations and access to the Planetarium, with dedicated team members available to assist families and guardians. The centre is part of the Sunflower Scheme and provides lanyards upon request. Please be aware that activation of the fire alarm system produces a loud alert. Admission is €4 for Disability Card holders and Esplora Concession Card members, with one carer included at no extra charge.
