L-Għadam tal-Mejtin – Cook-Along Activity

Come celebrate the mid-term break with a special baking experience at the Inquisitor's Palace! Heritage Malta invites children aged 8 and up to join an engaging culinary session on Tuesday, 3rd November, where they'll learn to prepare 'Għadam tal-Mejtin' – the beloved almond-based bone-shaped confections traditionally made in November to remember those who have passed away. Young participants will get hands-on as they blend ingredients, form shapes, and add decorative touches to their homemade sweets, which they can bring home as keepsakes. This memorable activity takes place within the historic Inquisitor's Palace in Birgu, a building with a storied past as the seat of Malta's Inquisitorial authority and now housing the National Museum of Ethnography. Two time slots are available: a Maltese-language session from 9.30 am to 11.30 am, and an English-language session from 1.00 pm to 3.00 pm. Entry is €20 per ticket, available for purchase through the online booking system or at any Heritage Malta venue or museum location.
