European Archaeology Days – Kordin Tours

Heritage Malta welcomes you to discover Kordin III in Paola during the annual European Heritage Days celebration—an obscure prehistoric temple site nestled within the modern cityscape, positioned between MCAST and Għajn Dwieli Church. This location was once part of a series of megalithic monuments spread across the Kordin plateau, representing a significant Neolithic settlement. It now stands as the last remaining testament to this ancient, mysterious terrain. Knowledgeable interpreters will guide visitors through the site's history and reveal its relationships with neighboring prehistoric locations including the Tarxien Prehistoric Complex, the Ħal Saflieni Hypogeum, and the Santa Luċija Hypogeum—all that endure from a landscape erased by centuries.
